Over the past
couple of months Ay has been working on 3 new violin pieces. Not for the spring concert at Tennille's Violin House but for the 6th Grade Honor Orchestra!! Yep, my little 3rd grader got to play with the 6th graders. He has worked so hard to learn each piece. But it gets better than that, he made 2nd chair in the 2nd violin section. I'm so stinkin proud of him.
The kids spent all day (from 9-5) Tues rehersing. I dont think he (or any of those kids) have practiced that much in a day. Some of them had blisters on their fingers.
Then on Wen, the rehersed for about 4 hrs and then had time to go home for awhile to get ready for the performance.
Love this one of Ay watching Tennille tune.
It was a great concert. There were probably 500 kids from 6th to 12th grade. They did such an amazing job.
Ay, you rock!! Keep it up!
I'm super proud of him too!
